PASTA

Ingredients - 4 Servings

1 jar ( 1 litre ) Don Carbone Tomato Sauce

1 Zucchini ( sliced )

4-5 large mushrooms (thinly sliced)

1 Red Pepper ( sliced or chopped )

1/2 medium Red Onion ( chopped )

454g ( 1 Lb ) Penne or any pasta of your choice ( Remember ridged pasta or bronze cut works best ) 

1 Carrot (thinly sliced )

1/4 cup of Olive Oil

2 Tablespoons of dried Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon of garlic powder

Instructions

1) Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook penne according to package directions.

2) While pasta is cooking heat olive oil in a large skillet in medium heat

3) Add carrots, peppers, mushrooms, red onion and Italian seasoning to heated oil and saute for 3 minutes

4) Add zucchini to skillet and saute for 3 minutes

5) Drain cooked pasta and return to pot. Add a jar of Don Carbone's sauce and mix.

6) Pour pasta onto serving dish, top with vegetables and serve
